So, another Carling Cup semi final tonight - I’m interested to know how Harry will handle it, but I have full faith in him!

Portsmouth striker Jermain Defoe and Coventry Goalkeeper Kieran Westwood were both left out of their respective club’s FA Cup 3rd round ties due to “illness” fueling speculation of imminent moves to Tottenham Hotspur following recent strong rumours.

It has to be said that Christmas was not a very merry time at White Hart Lane.  A solitary point away at Fulham and losses to Newcastle and, even worse, West Brom did little to inspire any confidence going into the New Year.

West Ham have reportedly turned down an increased offer of £12m from us for Craig Bellamy. This is double the £6m we originally offered last week and is a sign that both Harry is desperate to buy and that West Ham don’t seem as willing to sell as we originally thought…
