West Ham Players To Sue Tottenham

West Ham players are today considering sueing Tottenham Hotspur after their recent run of form has left the men in Claret and Blue with back-ache.
One player, who will remain anonymous, said:
A lot of the lads are suffering with bach-ache as we keep having to look down the league to see how Spurs are getting on.
If [...]

Ronaldo’s playacting too much???

Everyone’s favourite foreigner, Cristiano Ronaldo, was again at the center of controversy yesterday having won a penalty that clearly wasn’t a penalty. However, you will not find me laying a single shed of blame on him for a decision that was clearly made by Mr Calamity himself, Robert Styles. No no, Ronaldo lost [...]

Match Preview: Portsmouth v Tottenham

After the dissappointment of our 0-0 draw with Wigan, our next task is against the indifferent Portsmouth. They are currently somewhat out of form having lost their last two games, 6-0 and 4-0 against Manchester City and Chelsea respectively.
However, to say that puts us in good stead is a tad optimistic. Especially the way we have been playing lately.
Very little Spurs based team news to report other than Bale is a doubt and Hutton is still out. Although Dawson has resumed full training during the week. A welcome return that …

Half Time Update: Fulham 0-2 West Ham

In a half where Fulham have applied endless amounts of pressure, we have found ourselves going into the break 2-0 up, with goals from Carlton Cole and Matty Etherington on 43 and 45mins respectively.
Andy Johnson was also sent off for Fulham deep into first half injury time for two bookable offences.
We have found ourselves at [...]

Ryan Giggs - the Greatest ever?

With Monday’s release of the “Ryan Giggs - True Red” DVD, which chronicles his fantastic career, there is a question that surely, at this time, is a fair one - is Ryan Giggs the greatest player ever?
To give the question somewhat of a mathematical context, ability x longevity x achievement could be seen as some [...]

Arsenal Announce Profits

Arsenal Football Club have just announced profits of £37m from last season….a huge increase considering we didn’t win any silverware.
I would have to say that I find this encouraging to see our football club being run successfully when all around seem to be faultering (Newcastle et al!)
Yes, it is still treated like a business, but Wenger has control over who comes in and who goes out and he works well with the board on this. None of this huge money takeovers bringing in Robihno, but alternatively a successful, well run …

United, Chelsea, goals and Glenn Hoddle’s crime towards fashion

Lets not beat around the bush - May 2008 was a month to remember, not only for me to roll in a stag do and getting married in Cyprus but to remember May 11th and May 21st - two days that will live long into the memory of any Red. On both occasions, not [...]

Tottenham V Wigan: Match Preview

Well, we finally got our first win under our belts! A couple of my mates are playing this down, but I think it´s important to have got the points earlier in the week. Obviously the points are important in terms of staying in the UEFA Cup, but in terms of confidence for players like Bent [...]

Tottenham 1-2 Aston Villa - Match Review

Tottenham continued their dissapointing start to the season with a 2-1 home defeat to Aston Villa.
Spurs started poorly when Nigel Reo-Coker gave the Villains a 4th minute lead but Spurs struggled to postively repsond to the early setback and the White Hart Lane faithful endured a worrying first 45 minutes as Spurs failed to trouble [...]

Walcott #2 Is On The Scene

So, there is a new name in youth football, and it comes in the shape of Zele Ismail. He is supposed to be a proverbial “wonderkid” and is being dubbed as the new Theo Walcott.
He currently plays his trade at Wolves and they are determined to hold out for what would be a record transfer fee for somebody of his age, just 15.
Many of the top Premier League clubs are thought to be keeping tabs on the youngster, with Chelsea currently the leading mover in the situation and a bid …
