One Appearance In 3 Years? Bischoff Is A Gamble

Arsene Wenger has said it himself, that his new signing is a bit of a gamble.
The U-21 Portuguese international has only played 1game in his last 3 years at Werder Bremen after undergoing a groin operation…clearly a concern for all Arsenal fans.
To say that the guy has talent would be an opinion therfore based on appeaances that he made when he was about 17/18…injuries have been known to ruin players’ careers, so is this just one step too far for Mr. Wenger and his supernatural talent unearthing abilities?!

£7m for Arsenal Out Of Bentley Deal

I turns out that from the deal seeing David Bentley move to the Enemy (which has cost them approx £15m), Arsenal will receive around £7m.
Not bad I guess….cheers Tottenham!
Bentley never really seems to see eye-to-eye with his previous employers and has been heard advising Theo Walcott to leaver the Emirates in order to further his Arsenal career.

Now Tomas Rosicky Is Out

The start of Arsenal’s season is not looking too promising.
Without a signing of a replacement midfield player (to cover for the first team players that Arsenal have lost, including Gilberto and Alexander Hleb) and now the emergence that Tomas Rosicky is out for the beginning of the season with a damaged hamstring, things are looking a tad bleak for Arsene Wenger’s side.
What will be will be, but at the minute it really is looking like Arsenal should be signing somebody up quick. Maybe Inler will do?

In For Inler: Maybe?

Since the departure of many key first team players, particularly the central midfield position, Arsenal are desperately seeking a relplacement.
The player in question this time is Gokhan Inler or Udinese…although I’m not entirely sure why his name is even being mentioned!
He had this to say regarding the matter and to be honest it clears up [...]

Arsene In For Miguel Veloso?

Several sites are reporting that Arsenal Football club are lining up a bid for Poruguese star Miguel Veloso.
As a defensive midfielder and only 22, signing him will go a long way to calming Arsene Wenger’s nerves before the new season!
Definitely a position Arsenal need to fill!
